120502 archives Friday, May 24, 2002 hey, this is from thailand..so cool, everyone is everywhere.. it freaking hot here!!! but i am used to it already thnx to the fisherman's pants...there's nothing here except for kambings (goats and dirty sheeps) and their droppings....it's a Muslims fishing kampung surrounded by sea on two sides...they speak a Malay dialect...having trying very hard to learn from the kids, at least we can converse now....Beaches are great...Sea is not so friendly with the jellyfish n sea cucumber...trust me, sea cucumbers are the most disgusting creature on earth....gotta say prayers before going into the sea so as not to get 'kissed' by these ugly creatures..... thank god wanming came along....hahaha.... in short, love the keropok, the motorcy, the people, the primitiveness, the slow pace... down to basics.... posted by piranesi 11:19 PM |
